Arabic at Your hand | Book 1

This course is based on Al‑‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk – Book 1 by Dr Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al‑Fawzan. Designed for beginners, it builds a strong foundation in Arabic through basic grammar, vocabulary and simple sentence structure. Students will develop skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking using practical dialogues and everyday topics aligned with Islamic etiquette and daily life.

Unit 1: Greetings and Introduction

  • Basic introductions and greetings
  • Common phrases for self-introduction, asking about well-being, and saying goodbye
  • Cultural context for greetings

Unit 2: Family

  • Family vocabulary: father, mother, siblings, etc.
  • Introducing family members and asking about others’ families
  • Simple sentences describing family relationships

Unit 3: Housing

  • Vocabulary for rooms and furniture
  • Expressing where one lives and describing one’s home
  • Asking questions about living arrangements

Unit 4: Everyday Life

  • Describing daily routines
  • Using verbs for everyday activities (e.g., eat, work, sleep)

  • Ordering food in Arabic
