Anti-Violence Crisis

Anti-Violence Crisis Support

Experiencing violence can have a serious impact on your mental and emotional well-being. Our Anti-Violence Crisis Support service helps survivors understand what happened, cope with their feelings, and feel safe again.

You Are Not Alone

If you have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or other forms of gender-based violence, it is normal to feel fear, anger or sadness. Talking to someone who believes you and listens with care is an important step toward healing. Counselling can help you regain control, feel supported and take the time you need to heal. Research shows that speaking about your experiences in a safe and supportive environment can speed up recovery and make healing more complete. It is also normal to want to move forward at your own pace. Support is available whenever you are ready.

This service is available for anyone aged 13 or older in Ontario and nearby areas who has experienced domestic or gender-based violence. Family members, friends, and caregivers of survivors are also welcome to receive guidance and support.
