This course is based on the Al-Ḥā’iyyah , a short poem written by Imam Ibn Abi Dawood, the son of the famous hadith scholar Imam Abu Dawood. The poem has 33 lines and teaches key Islamic beliefs in a simple way. It covers belief in Allah, following the Prophet ﷺ, avoiding religious innovations (bid‘ah), loving the Prophet’s companions and belief in the Day of Judgment.
Shaikh Haytham bin Mohammad Sarhan is an Islamic teacher and scholar. He studied at the Islamic University of Madinah, where he learned Arabic and Islamic law. He has taught at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, giving lessons and courses about Islam. He also teaches online courses through Mahad Sunnah and creates books and activities to help children learn Islam in a fun and easy way.
