4. Four Principles

4. Four Principles

This book teaches students four important principles about Tawheed and Shirk. Students will learn why Allah alone deserves worship, why worshipping anyone besides Allah is Shirk and how to protect their Tawheed.

Course Information

Introduction
Students will learn why asking Allah for knowledge, guidance and help is important. They will learn about Haneefiyyah, which means worshipping Allah alone and staying away from Shirk.

The First Principle
Students will learn that some people believed Allah created everything but still worshipped others besides Him. They will learn why believing Allah is the Creator is not enough without worshipping Him alone.

The Second Principle
Students will learn that some people worshipped others because they wanted to get closer to Allah or have someone speak to Allah for them. They will learn why worship must be for Allah alone.

The Third Principle
Students will learn that people worshipped different things besides Allah, including angels, prophets, righteous people, trees, stones, the sun and the moon. They will learn how Prophet Muhammad ﷺ called everyone to worship Allah alone.

The Fourth Principle
Students will learn that some people remembered Allah alone when they were in danger but worshipped others when they were safe. They will learn why Muslims must worship Allah alone at all times.
