Experiencing violence can affect your mental health. Our Anti-Violence Crisis Support helps survivors understand what happened, cope with their feelings and feel safe again.
You Are Not Alone
If you have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or other forms of gender-based violence, it is normal to feel fear, anger or sadness. Talking to someone about what happened and being believed is very important. Counselling can help you start healing, regain control and feel supported. You deserve the care of a trained counsellor who can help you take the time you need to heal. Research shows that the sooner survivors can speak about their experiences in a safe and supportive place, the faster and more complete the healing can be. It is also normal to want to forget what happened and move on. Support is available whenever you are ready.
