Experiencing sexual assault or a violation of consent can affect your mental health. Our Consent and Sexual Assault Support helps survivors understand what happened, manage their feelings and feel safe again.
You Are Not Alone
After a sexual assault, survivors may feel many emotions such as anger, fear or blaming themselves. Talking to someone about what happened and being believed is very important. Counselling at this time can help you start healing and regain control over your life. You deserve the support of a trained counsellor who can give you the time and care you need to recover. Research shows that the sooner a survivor can talk about their experience in a safe and supportive place, the faster and more complete the healing can be. It is normal to want to forget what happened and move on. You can get support whenever you are ready.
