Losing a loved one is difficult, but in Islam, death is a transition, not the end. Family and friends offer comfort, reminding the person of ALLAH’s mercy and forgiveness. If possible, their last words should be the Shahada: “I bear witness that there is no god but ALLAH, and MUHAMMAD is His (last) Prophet.”
Our Funeral Services
We provide body release, transportation, preparation for burial, coffin (box), kafan (shroud), cold storage, death registration, burial permit and cemetery transport & burial.
Required Forms
- Statement of Death – Form 15
- Burial Services & Cemetery Information
- Death Certificate – Form 16 along with blank “Burial_Permit_Form-19 ” to the City Office. The city will issue a “Burial Permit” while keeping other forms in their records.
Funeral Process Steps
- Body Pickup:
After your call, we provide the process details. Our representative picks up the deceased and brings them for preparation. The family provides two government-issued IDs and payment for the burial services. - Paperwork:
We assist the family with the necessary paperwork and submit it for the burial permit. - Ghusl (Body Washing):
Ghusl is performed by our Imams at 9 am, 11 am on the day of the Janaza, or 7 pm the night before. Up to 4 family members can be present. - Janaza Prayer:
The Janaza prayer is held at our center at 10:30 am and around 1:30 pm after Dhur (no Janaza prayers after 11 am on Fridays).
