Janazah (Funeral)

Losing a loved one is difficult, but in Islam, death is a transition, not the end. Family and friends offer comfort, reminding the person of ALLAH’s mercy and forgiveness. If possible, their last words should be the Shahada: “I bear witness that there is no god but ALLAH, and MUHAMMAD is His (last) Prophet.”

Our Funeral Services

We provide body release, transportation, preparation for burial, coffin (box), kafan (shroud), cold storage, death registration, burial permit and cemetery transport & burial.

Required Forms

Funeral Process Steps

  1. Body Pickup:
After your call, we provide the process details. Our representative picks up the deceased and brings them for preparation. The family provides two government-issued IDs and payment for the burial services.
  2. Paperwork:
We assist the family with the necessary paperwork and submit it for the burial permit.
  3. Ghusl (Body Washing):
Ghusl is performed by our Imams at 9 am, 11 am on the day of the Janaza, or 7 pm the night before. Up to 4 family members can be present.
  4. Janaza Prayer:
The Janaza prayer is held at our center at 10:30 am and around 1:30 pm after Dhur (no Janaza prayers after 11 am on Fridays).
