Scholars say that the best way to learn real Islamic knowledge is to start with the basics. This means studying small, simple books called Al-Mutoon Al-Ilmiyya. These books are short, but they teach the most important things about our religion in an easy-to-understand way. They help build a strong foundation so we can learn our religion properly. Today, many people forget this proper way of learning.
Instead, they believe they can learn Islam by watching random TikTok videos, Instagram reels, Facebook posts or YouTube videos. While these can sometimes give helpful reminders, they are not enough to build true knowledge. Many times, the information shared is not checked or verified and it might even be wrong. This can lead to confusion and misunderstandings rather than helping people understand Islam correctly.
If you really want to learn Islam for the sake of Allah, you need to go back to the proper way of learning. Start with the basic books, take your time and learn from reliable teachers. Be patient and serious about your studies. True knowledge takes effort, but it is worth it because it brings you closer to Allah. May Allah make it easy for all of us to learn the right way. Ameen
